Positive: We loved the house it was comfortable, it is quite traditional, eclectic and nichel so not new and shiny but that added to it's appeal for us. House was really well equipped, had everything we needed. The host was nice, we arrived on a religious holiday and all the supermarkets were closed so she had brought us some water and juice so we had something to drink. Stunning views from the pool out to sea, was really beautiful. Just very short stroll to a nice clean beach that had cafes, restaurants and a giant inflatable floating aqua park which the kids loved. Reasonable priced too. Lovely gardens and outside space beautiful flowers and lots of fruit growing, kids loved being able to pick figs straight from the tree, the host showed them how to find ones ripe for eating. We booked late so the price was reduced and I think it was a fair price to pay, had we of paid full price I think we would of expected more high end fixtures and fittings

Negative: Due to the extensive gardens there were a lot of bugs which is expected and there were insect repellent incense type things provided, but, there wasn't a clear path to the pool where you weren't brushing past the plants and gardens, we got lots of bites, I think cutting those back a bit so there is a clear path to the pool would help. The house is also overlooked by an apartment block, actually it didn't invade our privacy much but I do not remember this being mentioned or photos showing it. Outside of the beach the surrounding area is not that great, It is safe enough but rubbish and graffiti everywhere, there's a handful of restaurants within walking distance food is good but choice is limited. To be fair we arrived during a heatwave so only short walks appropriate, had it been cooler I think you could walk up the beach to Split about 3km away where there were lots of bars and restaurants it was just too hot for us to do that with the kids.

Positive: Good functioning property. Open Pool was well maintained. Good greenery all around.

Negative: Roadworks outside meant property not accessible. There was always a walk from Hotel Amphora. This was not made clear while booking. Bathroom inside the property was outdated. Beds could have been better.

Summary: Good stay. If the property is modernized and the area development is finished surely worth considering this
